It is now much easier to create rich and dynamic Web sites by using existing Internet applications, like Google Maps, del.icio.us, Flickr, and others in your own Web site. Dimitri Glazkov from Estrada and Jeff Keeton from UAB Web Communications will demonstrate the mashup principle in practice in UAB in Antarctica Web site.
This new site, created by Estrada and UAB, combines blogs from UAB researchers currently in Antarctica with photos posted to Flickr. Dimitri and Jeff will explain the benefits and requirements for creating a mashup, as well as show other popular mashup Web sites.
